This page explains how to request deletion of your Wear The Mood account and the personal data associated with it.

How to request deletion

In the app (fastest): open Profile → Settings → “Delete account & data” and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and data right away.

By email: send a request to support@wearthemood.com from the email address on your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing.

What data will be deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete the personal data we hold about you, including:

Your account profile (email, display name, sign-in credentials, preferences and settings)
Your wardrobe items and their details
Uploaded images (wardrobe photos, profile/avatar photos)
Try-on images — the photos you upload and the generated try-on results
Your saved outfits and looks
Your community posts and comments, where technically possible
Your app preferences and other associated app data

What data may be retained

We may retain a limited amount of data where the law requires it or for a legitimate, narrowly-scoped purpose, such as:

Transaction / purchase records (for tax, accounting and refund obligations)
Security and abuse-prevention logs
Legal, regulatory or compliance records
Anonymised or aggregated analytics that can no longer identify you

Retained data is kept only for as long as required and is not used to re-create your account.

How long deletion takes

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days of a verified request, unless a longer retention period is required by law. In-app deletion takes effect immediately.
